This is so inevitable it's ridiculous how much time and effort is going into trying to prevent it from becoming as commonplace as alcohol.
The only thing holding it up is the surviving old skool paranoids who still believe pot is a gateway drug to lily white daughters having 15 little black or brown babies pouring out of her crotch. |

The new law puts in place restrictions to prevent the kind of abuse that has plagued some of the 16 other states and the District of Columbia where pot is legal for medical use.
We'll see how the "restrictions" work in preventing the abuse by the dopers who have no or fabricated medical problems...... |

My question specifically asked you to consider which would do the "most good for society". It's explicitly asking you to make a choice between them. If you believe you cannot make such a choice, so be it. But at least attempt to be honest & not deflect from addressing the point of the question. Homicide and jaywalking are both "illegal". Based on your answer above, does that mean that leos should spend an equal amount of limited resources focusing on combating both homicide & jaywalking? |
