Well, I got some gift cards earlier this month and today I just received 4 checks with a total value of $60. I could have sent in more offers, but I didn't want to send in the smaller cash rebate amounts just to be safe.
2x $10 Exxon Gift Cards - Great Fun 2x $10 Lowes Gift Cards - CompleteHome $20 Check - CompleteHome $20 Check - Great Fun $10 Check - Great Fun $10 Check - AutoVantage I am still waiting on a couple others that I sent in, but I don't always get all of what I sent in. Most of it gift cards arrive shortly after submitting the form online and the checks usually arrive close to the end of my trial period. Last edited by Wulfkiss; 03-30-2007 at 09:30 AM.. |

Hi,
Hope this hasn't already been answered...I went through the entire post and didn't see this: Suppose I sign up for Great Fun and the offer is Two 10.00 Gift Cards for Circuit City. In the original post are the links to all of the Great Fun Offers. If I would rather have the Two 10.00 Exxon Cards can I just click on that link instead of the Circuit City link? Make sense? Any tried this? Also, I assume (I know, bad idea)....that I can I only do one of the links per membership? Thanks! Michelle |

be careful ...
if you care .....you might want to read some of the complaints against Trilegiant (and there are tons), as well as the lawsuits filed against them ..... for being deceptive ... http://www.consumeraffairs.com/sc...aints.html http://groups.msn.com/USBankCompl...giant.msnw and this from Wikipedia: According to the Better Business Bureau hundreds of issues have been reported by consumers for: deceptive selling practices, unauthorized charges to consumers' credit cards, and failure to respond or resolve issues. TLG made a Settlement Agreement with the Office of the Attorney General of Florida On March 7, 2005. Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act, Chapter 501, Part II, Florida Statutes (“FDUTPA”). In July 2005, the Attorney's General of CT, CA and ME brought a lawsuit against TLG/Affinion for allegedly deceiving consumers into enrolling in its clubs. In December 2006 Trilegiant/Affinion agreed to pay over $8 million dollars to 17 states and their residents to settle allegations they tricked residents into paying for its programs. I don't know about the rest of you, but when I read this stuff I IMMEDIATELY withdrew from their Travelers Advantage program ..... Up to you, of course ...

as I said, everyone can make their own decision ....
there have been some "happy campers" in this thread, but I felt that people should know something about the history of Trilegiant - and make an informed decision considering both sides .... The fact that Trilegiant agreed to pay 8 million dollars (and this was only 4 months ago) to settle allegations that they had tricked customers tells me it's not the kind of company I want to deal with ... we're not talking about a few people here, if you follow the links ... imo some "deals" aren't worth it ... for those who think this one IS, I wish you the best, really .... peace out ...

whoops - forgot one thing ...
the thing that first got me to raise my eyebrows was that I could not find an email address for "Traveler's Advantage" ANYWHERE ... what kind of company in this day and age doesn't have an email address? (maybe more than I am aware of .....?) |

i agree with xavior - i have made over $500 from free sign ups just from this cycle thanks to xavior - and have not paid out over $1 for the trial - i have done this for over a year and i have always been diligent to cancel on time - once i forgot and they refunded me anyways - i totally agree with xavior - the lawsuit is for people that forgot to cancel
------------ this is no different to shady rebate companies - their goal is that you forget to cancel, but still you can easily outsmart them - xavior i have a few new links that will be emailed to me from ecustserv in a few days - $20 linens and things for complete home and everyday values - - when will your bargain thread be ready? |

how long does it usually take to get the cards? |

I haven't had a whole lot of luck getting all of the promised gift cards, though I did receive the two Linens & Things and Exxon cards. However, I've been sending in rebates religiously (using receipts from Wal-Mart and Target for the cash back ones that aren't for gas) and so far I've gotten $145 in rebate checks. That's a pretty good savings, I'd say! Thanks OP!
