Thanks! In-4-1. Came to $18.20. Not a huge fan of the third and fourth movies but $9/each for the first two isn't bad and I'll just consider the last two free. ;-)

Just placed my order, sure it'll work on my ps3 ordered the jurassic park trilogy and it works on my ps3.

The 4 disc set in the OP (and the previous threads) has the exact same movie discs as the 6 disc set you linked (it just omits the 2 Bonus discs and has a different jacket). This has been confirmed an absurd number of times over the last 6 months and yet you insist on posting false information that has already been explained even in this thread. Bought these in April at $17.70, and they are indeed region free. Alien looks spectacular for a 1979 movie. Aliens is a treat as well, and gives your sound system a solid, enjoyable workout. Haven't gotten around to watching the third and fourth films yet.
The sole downside to this set is the ratings logo plastered on the box and disc cases. A tad annoying to see on my blu-ray shelf. Side note, I watched the first movie on a PS3, the 2nd movie on a Sony blu-ray deck. Highly recommended set, overall. |

I too purchased the 4 disc set (blue version) last time around in April (at $17.70/USD) and Ive had no problems playing the set on region-1 USA equipment .

I bought the green covered one from Amazon.co.uk few months ago and this one is region free(clearly says on the site) and this version works fine. |

Not sure how much more clear it can be made, either by myself or other posters. Simple bullet points: - I own this set - It has the indicated blue artwork - It is a four disc set - It plays on my PS3, as well as a Sony blu-ray deck - It was bought from Amazon UK - Nowhere on the boxset, the cases or the discs does it specify a region - This will play on US players - Everyone who says this is region free is correct - Anyone who says this will not play on US players is incorrect If there are still questions, let me know. I will address them by typing the same information, albeit slower. |

The 2 posters with the Blue set who posted right above yours said their sets played fine, I have seen both the UK Blue 4 disc and the UK Green 6 disc set and can unequivocally state that they are identical discs and play fine on US equipment Amazon UK can continue to label their sets however they want, but that doesn't mean it;s correct. It's been shown repeatedly over the last 6 years since Bluray came out that they do not post correct region lock information for their Blurays. Unless the manufacturer explicitly labels their releases as Region Free, Amazon will default to B/2. Unless of course the troll lance is back in play with a different screen name then it makes sense. |

Are those two extra bonus discs anything special? I am thinking of getting this four disc set.

It depends on if you like extras. Those bonus discs have around 20-25 hours of extra material about the Anthology above what the regular 4 discs have on them (which is a lot in addition to the 2 versions of each film). If the 6 disc set was still at $23 I'd say it's a slam dunk for even a casual fan, at the current $27 I'd pay the extra and not blink twice. If you never watch extras and really just want the movie discs, then get the cheaper pack.
