SOLE E35 Elliptical $774 clearance at Dick's YMMV PM Sears $720- ***ADDED COUPON***

Had to jump thru hoops for this one but in the end it was worth it...

Ordered the E35 from Sears for $1216 after tax,delivery/assembly 3 weeks ago. Called them up and they refused to price match because it was beyond 15 days, not to mention you can barely understand their reps. Ended up going to the store, price matching to dicks and ordering one to the store. Picked it up and returned it using my original receipt, ended up getting the entire $1216 back which was more than I was even looking for.

$764 after tax, delivery and assembly.

I guess Sears just wanted to spend the money to bring one in, time handling it, and then time returning it...

....so i have been waiting for all back stock to sell out at a local Dicks. Today I go in and all that is left is the display. I start mentaly planning my approach to get max discount on the display. Than it happens, these jerks raised the price to $999 and would only give me 10% off. WTF

How does the pricce on a clearance item go up in price? Screw them, I give up.

I wonder if we went to the same store, or they're doing that everywhere. I went in today because when I called yesterday, the stock was finally gone. The E35 had been marked up to $999. The E25 was still marked at $699.99, and they offered 25% off the floor model, making it $525. I might just do that, since that's nearly 50% off the price everywhere else, but I didn't bite just yet.
