GODADDY Saved 41.56% on renewal and privacy services (should have only saved on domains)
Disclaimer:
I'm not saying that the code I used will save anyone else the same or more than it saved me. I am saying that I was able to use it and it saved me 41.56% off (on my first order in June) of my total order. Your Milage will likely vary a lot if you try to use the code.
[EDIT] 7/30/2012 - I didn't want to start a new thread, sorry.
Just renewed another domain, and purchased news ones as well (all with privacy). Even got a free .info without asking, but I won't complain. Total was $87.65, discount was $52.19, and I paid $35.46 (saving over 40%)
----------------------------------------------
I had an expiring domain that also had privacy services on it. When I went into the shopping cart to do a 2 year renewal, I found that they gave me a very small automatic discount on the domains. As with most people, I Googled for some codes, and started running through the ones I found. None of them worked because their promotions had ended. Then I tried one that was supposed to make my domains $8.67 a year. That in and of itself would have been worth it, but here's how the whole thing ended up...
Without any codes...
My renewal price was $41.96 ($21.98 (with ICANN fees) for the 2 year domain renewal, and $19.98 for 2 years of privacy).
With the code
My renewal price was $24.52 ($17.34 (with ICANN fees) for the 2 year domain renewal, and $7.18 for 2 years of privacy).
If you look at the screen shot I took of the shopping cart, you'll see that I "only saved 80 cents". For whatever reason, they didn't consider any of the other items as savings but 80 cents on the privacy service from $7.98 to $7.18. I modified my SS for privacy issues, and so that nobody could claim that I was advertising my domain.
I don't understand it but I saved $21.44 ($41.96-$17.44 (41.56%) = $24.52.
The code I used was GDBBREN8
