And you've been here long enough to know I AM "fresh red meat" to a LOT of the conservatives and no small number of liberal posters as well. |

'Mouse, what's your thoughts on union pensions funds [calstrs.com] owning WMT stock, and bitching about WMT bribery in mexico while the stock has recently hit multi-year highs?
Does it bother you that 1) your union brothers/sisters are funding their pensions with WMT earnings and/or 2) that they're bitching about WMT management at a time when the bribery scandal was probably the best buying opportunity in awhille and that the business couldn't be in better shape. I just think it's pure greatness that unions fund their retirement on the back of WMT and then proceed to bitch about management as their stock hits multi-year highs. |

I notice 'mouse hasn't responded. In other news, NYC pension funds are also getting in on the lawsuit action. I guess they are having guilt-issues owning stock in WMT and having it reach 52-week highs the last 3 weeks lol

Like many others, i too felt that most of the OP's examples to support his theory were ridiculous and FOS. That was until a few hours ago. While walking towards the Walmart entrance, a white Nissan Altima right next to me suddenly caught fire and burst into flames. After ensuring there was no one inside, i quickly backed away from the vehicle while another customer called 911. Based on this occurrence, I can say that I agree with the OP and you shouldn't go near Walmart if you value your life. This is also evidence that you shouldn't own white Nissan Altimas as they are prone to bursting into flames.

However, if there is a definite violation of the law in these cases by either side, then the prosecutors should pursue charges if possible, the same as if they occurred in any business establishment and in any jurisdiction. |
