Rumble, young man, rumble. These are interesting times we live in. Punctuation is key. Fruit is nature's candy.

your going to blame a huge corporation for the actions of a couple bad employees? the ones who are paid near-minimum wage? - why not just say all the people in XXX are criminals because you read about some guys who killed a guy who was doing something bad, and blame everyone who lives in XXX?

In a way technically Walmart have no legal hold on some of the products they sell because they are a retail store who DISPLAY the products of the manufactuer.. In order to prove that someone stole from Walmart specifically, you must prove that the product the person took belong to Walmart actually belong to Walmart.. If Walmart have not yet paid the manufactuer or distributor in FULL, technically Walmart do not own the product in question and only it is still consider the property of the manufactuer or distributor who are the only ones who can file charges of theft.
And I'm am fairly certain many of the products on Walmart shelves are current on LOAN and have not been paid in full to the manufactuers or distributors for Walmart to claim complete ownership of the items in question And that is why to the poster who think it is the same as robbery or mugging have no reasoning to stand on. The use of that arguement is basically useless Last edited by Ryu-bom; 06-06-2012 at 01:35 PM.. |

![]() One word response to this post: BS Would it not be illegal to shoplift from Sears, Kmart, JC Penney or any other store? Would it not be illegal to steal a car from a dealer's lot since they are financed through a "flooring" program? Would it not be illegal for someone to steal a car or boat that the loan is not yet paid off? Would it not be illegal for someone to break into a house that the mortgage is not yet paid off? Go to WM and try your theory out and see how far you get with your "defense"... When you get out of jail, let us know how it went.

Too poor to afford a high powered attorney to challenge the charge on its legality of the way the law was written.. Im pretty sure with the right lawyer the notion of WM property/item stocks right can be challenged. the only thing that Walmart technically owns are the money in its registars and the uniforms of its staff. Even the property/land it sits on isn't theirs if it is RENTED |

Is this the post to which you're referring? Because I totally made the 12-7-08 example up.
Or are we on the same side saying they're both ridiculous, along with some of the others? I am not trying to be difficult,I just don't know.
