As a born and raised Floridian, cold brew iced tea (from bags, not instant) is perfectly acceptable. Hot brewed is of course preferred. Sugar-free instant green tea in the little packs for bottled water are also fine as well. Tea snobbery is over hyped LOL.

As a resident of the South, I feel it is my duty to inform you there is no such thing as tea "season". I wash down every lunch and dinner with tea year round. Unsweet because I just don't need extra sugar in my diet, maybe a half pack of Splenda.

Guess I can send off for the sample they offer on Facebook.
But I will be surprised if it isn't OVER sweetened with Splenda.
Plus this is instant powdered tea, so I don't know...

On a related note, as a southern ice tea snob, tea is supposed to be BREWED with hot water and tea leaves/bags.
If it comes in bottles in a convenience store - not tea.
If it's dispensed by a soda machine - not tea.
If you mix it cold out of a can like Koolaid - not tea.
A restaurant down here is in for it if they think they can avoid brewing ice tea.

Now I'm thirsty... I brew my own ice tea at work. 2" hot water and 2 small teabags in a big cup, let it sit, then add a little splenda lotsa ice and water.
