They did it for me, they worked it out to apply the $75 gift card. He tried to just change the method of payment to include the 2nd gift card, but the system apparently wouldn't let him. So he canceled the order and held my system for me, waited 5 minutes for the $400 gift card to be recredited, then he put through the repurchase with both gift cards and manually entered the same discount as the 25%-off coupon that expired yesterday.

It worked perfectly.

Definitely not sarcastic...Actually I realized it is both refurbished and scratched as I found few scratches on it now

I was checking my order of June 6 which had delayed shipping of 6/18 and THEY CANCELED THE ORDER! I have not yet been notified but when I check my account it shows canceled! OMG I am so mad! I guess all of those of you with an i7 placed through chat or with rep better check order status. I have a feeling we were all sold the same machine.

My order for a laptop this tuesday is already shipped and is to arrive tomorrow. Dell ROCKS!!

If they cancelled your order, its probably because they considered it fraud for reasons like (billing and shipping different, credit card information, not able to verify the order when calling the phone number given) etc...

My 15z shipped yesterday after initially listed as being delayed. Should get it tomorrow. Not sure what the deal was or why it mysteriously became available for shipment. I also called Dell yesterday since the exact same setup is now $50 cheaper. Hoping to get some of that money back.

That really sucks. I would call them aspa.

If somebody like I did put a SSD in the 15z and is not able to install Intel Rapid Start Technology, drop me a PM.

After being initially delayed, my order for a 15z i7/1080p/8gb/1tb shipped on schedule. They accidentally sent it ground instead of next business day (as promised) so I'm getting a little back as a credit for their mix up.

My theory is this: I placed the order through dell chat. A rep sent me a quote and I checked ut using my Dell PA. Most people know that when you use s DPA you save an additional 2%. I did not get that 2% so I called and got a dell rep who said he would monitor the account and when it ships he would credit the card the $13 due as a DPA credit. That rep then went on vacation so when dell wanted the money the rep was gone so no money was released from DPA. I was simply told that dell financial did not release the funds and after speaking with my rep at Dell financial and he told me he was on vacation I pieced all this crap together. OMG what a major hassle.

Good news is they found another to send me me but it is a scratch and dent. Anybody have good luck with a S&D. Anybody have luck returning one without restocking fee?

I believe they are all marked refurbished even if they are S&D.

,Got my laptop in today. It's pretty good. Came in the original XPS box, had no bloatware installed (which was a very pleasant surprise), and no scratches that I could see after giving it a solid look over. Still has the protective sticker over the keyboard. Good job Dell.

We bought 4 S&D/refurbished Dell Mini 9's before from the outlet (for $100-110 each) and all of them were like brand new. (Well we didn't have a new one to compare them with but they looked pristine and they all still work with no problems after 3+ years.)

I'm waiting for an S&D 15z myself and I'm confident with whatever may come. (Since I got it for a bargain I don't care about scratches and dents as long as the screen is fine.)

Completely agree. Just got my 15z about an hour ago and the screen is insanely nice. Also, I can't even tell this thing is a refurb, it even has that new laptop smell. Very happy!
