Virgin Mobile will only activate VM branded phones onto their network.
Therefore, you cannot use a Verizon, ATT or Sprint iPhone.
Further, it will also not work on an unlocked AT&T iPhone 4S (regardless of it being a worldphone with GSM/CDMA).
Details:
The Apple iPhone 4 will be available for $549.99, and the iPhone 4S will be available for $649.99 according to Virgin Mobile reps on facebook.
Compare Virgin Mobile and Sprint coverage. If you do a lot of travel, Virgin Mobile (or most prepaid) may not be good for you.
FYI, the 30 dollars a month is really the 35 dollar plan, But you get a 5 dollar discount per month when you register the automatic recharge with paypal/creditcard.

- Each device has an ESN/MEID associated with it. This is a unique identifier for your phone.

This may seem tempting, but in a few months the 4G iphone will be out and I bet it will be a long while before it comes to VM. |

Saving $100 bucks a month vs my Verizon plan would make up for the up front cost pretty quick. For whatever reason my wife considers prepaid carriers inferior, even though they use the same towers as the big 3... so I'll likely be overpaying with the masses well into the future...
