"2. Card member must enroll each quarter into categories of their choice, or all net purchases will earn no more than 1% cash back. Categories subject to change quarterly. U.S. Bank cannot control how merchants choose to classify their business (Purchase categories) and reserves the right to determine which Purchases qualify. Full details will be provided upon approval of an account." Like to know what stores are under "electronics". Newegg? Amazon? Not really tempting since there is no sign-up bonus points or cash. Last one I signed up for was Capital One which gave $100 back. |

After digging around there is a $50 bonus if you spend $500 in 3 months through Facebook:
https://www.facebook.com/usbankca...5102528120 The 25% bonus for redeeming in $100 increments makes it 1.25% cashback vs 1.50% cashback on my Capital One. If they keep certain categories available each quarter like bill pay and electronics I could see myself using this. |

Costco Amex True earning or Bank of America is top choice imo. Now to answer your question, depends where the deli is located. 1) if the deli is a standalone restaurant. It is categories as restaurant. I never dealt with US bank so they have fast food & restaurant as 2 separate category is pretty stupid. Chase Freedom/Discover more just categorize fast food as restaurant. 2)if your deli is located inside a big grocery store & is associated with the grocery store, then most likely the deli charge will be categorized as "grocery or supermarket" depending on your location. IE: I have a panda express located inside my Vons/Pavilion store, my Discover card categorized as supermarket since they are of the Vons. Hope that helps ![]()

700 Total SSD's handled between two jobs. Plextor M3s, M5s, Crucial M4s, Intel 320s, and Samsung 470/830s are reliable. 2 M4 failure among ~200 of them. Sandforce Sata II controlled drives, 6 RMAs among ~175 units. There, now you know why I post like I do, professional, personal experience.
If you are going to ask "what deal was that?" or" where can I find out about deal so and so?" use the search feature on SD or Google first. |
