I buy a lot in department store so the question is can I always chose department store as 5% cash back every quarter or I have to change?

This may turn out to be decent, but I'm not interested. First, if you have good credit, you shouldn't even be looking at a card that doesn't pay you $200-$250 or more just to sign up. Second, until we have several concrete examples of how the categories work, you really have no idea how good of a deal it will be. Between my BofA cash reqards card and Chase Freedom (both of which I got $250 immediately to open), I get 5% or groceries right now and 3% on gas. Adding substantially to what those cards offer is going to be hard.
And remember, with no sign up bonus (or $50 if you can get it)...you're going to have to charge quite a lot before you make up for the fact that you got very little from the start. |

I think the visa signature perks are also a plus to the card, without the annual fee. Currently I have a visa signature card, and use concierge service whenever I go out of town, and they're usually pretty helpful. the other benefits are pretty much standard in my opinion.

So if I choose Airlines as one of my 5% categories, do I have to choose a particular airline? Delta, American, United? Or will I get 5% cash back on all airlines as long as I purchase through airline website and not Expedia, Orbitz, etc?

Nobody noticed that the flight redemption is pretty good?
@20k points, one can get up to $400 airfare... that used to be pretty good for the old Citi Amex before they changed the terms. But not as good as the 90K points for business class airfare up to $2700. |

I know there is no magical answer to this question........but does anyone know about where the low-end cutoff might be credit-score-wise? About how low would be low enough not to bother?

I am currently on US Bank Flexperks SIgnature - 90$ annual fee.
I average ~ 26K per year being my main CC. I earn ~ 40K Rewards miles out of these charges. You migs think it is better to switch to this card? No? |

so, under terms and conditions, it says "Should your application for the U.S. Bank Cash+™ Visa Signature card be denied, submitting this application constitutes your application for a U.S. Bank Cash Rewards Visa® Card" does anyone know if the cash rewards visa card has the same rewards program?

I've been looking for something and thought of going for costco + amex.. but this looks great to me..
1 thing thats a bit of cocern is - do they include Amazon, fry etc as electronics.. But anyway repped, thanks for sharing friend |
