Vdara Las Vegas $99 Suite with $50 resort credit

How do you do both the 15% and 75$ credit deal? I registered my AMEX but there are two separate hotel booking links ....

I just returned from Las Vegas. I stayed at the Vdara using the special $50.00 promotion.

The hotel is very nice, but I experienced a few problems. First of all the bathroom sink did not drain. I called the operator and the problem was fixed immediately. The clock radio just flashed off and on. I called the operator and a new clock radio was delivered to the room. The shower door made a loud popping sound when closed. I called the operator and the repair person could not fix it. He said I would have to wait until tomorrow for the repair.

Other than these few minor inconveyances, I have to say the Vdara is a beautiful hotel. It is about 3 years old.

It is located about 2 to 3 blocks from Las Vegas Blvd. You have to walk toward the Aria to get to the Blvd. The other way is to walk thru the Bellagio Hotel.

There is a tram very close to the hotel that takes you to the Aria, Monte Carlo, and Crystal Center. Use the tram.

The $50.00 coupon can be used at the Vdara restaurant or at several of the Aria restaurants. $50.00 won't go very far as the food is very expensive. A cup of small coffee is $3.79, so you can get an idea that breakfast can be rather expensive. Tips are not included in the $50.00.

The Vdara has a health club and a decent sized pool. You can rent a cabana at the pool for $200.00 a day on Saturday and Sunday. $125.00 on weekdays. There is only one small restaurant in the hotel and a small bar. This is a non smoking hotel. There is no casino.

Be prepared to do a lot of walking if you stay at this hotel. It is quite a distance between hotels.

I would stay at the Vdara again. The only advise I can give you is to bring lots of money. Las Vegas is not cheap. Everything is expensive. Also, I did not see to many winners at the casinos.

For anyone planning on using a rental car and staying at Vdara AND wanting to skip the valet:

Park at the Bellagio parking garage on the south end of the property. Follow the main walkway south to Vdara. It's about a 10 minute walk, but still quicker than if you were to park at Aria's garage.

Valet is free at the Vdara.

Yes you are right. In fact, you'd be hard pressed to find a paid valet on the LV strip outside of places like the Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental.

I still reiterate my original point, though. If you prefer to self park, then the Bellagio garage is the closer option.

Believe it or not, some of us don't feel comfortable giving away the keys to a $25,000 rental to a total stranger, especially since most valets have a strong disclaimer that they are in no way responsible for damage or loss.

Booked last night. It was between Vdara and Elara. We opted for Elara since the rooms are bigger (Jr Suite vs. V Deluxe Suite), we get a free upgrade, and 2 nights came out to be $150 or so cheaper than staying at Vdara. It's technically off the strip but right behind PH so it can't be that bad.

Shortest walking distance is to park at Cosmo. Then walk out to Harmon st, make a right and use a stair or elevator to go up to Vdara lobby level. Though most of the walk are outside with no cover but Cosmo has a better "view" (if you know what I mean).

I got Vdara using hotwire for $83 / night + taxes. August 4 -7 (3 nights).

I just checked into my suite at Vdara and wanted to say thanks to the OP.
We got a corner suite and requested a view of the bellagio fountains. $149 per night is a great deal for this place even without a resort credit. The hotel room is comparable to a nice suite at Trump Towers with a more contemporary vibe. So far the staff has been fun and professional. The check-in clerk mentioned a $25 credit but i corrected her and told her the website stated a $100 credit for the corner suite on a bonus night (weeknight). She had no idea what I was talking about but added another $75 to the original $25 credit without issue.

Big thanks to OP for posting a good vegas deal so I can have an excuse to visit Vegas!

I just checked into Vdara and this place is nice! However, when i asked about the resort credit, the lady at the desk said that I could only use it at like 3 restaurants at the Vdara.. did anyone staying with this offer see the same thing? I want to cross charge buffets from other MGM casinos since the restaurant pickings at Vdara are a lil weak.

You can use it at any MGM restaurant. We used it at Aria for brunch buffet. Total came out to $53 something. When we checked the bill on the tv screen next day it showed up as Aria buffet for $3 something. Just make sure you tell the cashier you want to charge it to your room at Vdara. They will then ask for your room number and ID.

wtf is an elara? you mean the palazzo?
