I bought Duke Nukem Forever last time around and just recently installed it. After playing mindless hours of source engine games, DNF has much better graphics than anything valve provides and the online combat is pretty fun along with the good graphics in the maps. I think this game received way too much flack but oh well people complain about everything. I spent $6.99 which isn't the cheapest it has ever gone for. I'm expecting that it will go on sale for $4.99 during steam sale and the add on dlc will go on sale as well for that or less. I probably should grab the dlc because it includes deathmatch maps. |

There's a progression when it comes to Steam sales. First level is that you buy everything that's on sale for ridiculously cheap. Once you've realized that you won't ever have the time to play this stuff for more then 5-10 min at a time (or that the game despite being $2.50 has held your attention for exactly 5 min), you're at level two in which you only buy stuff based both rock bottom price as well as time committed to playing said game. The final level of Steam sales is that you see a really cool game at a ridiculous price and go to buy it only to find out you've had a copy of the game sitting in your library all along.

I feel it is better to buy the games you really desire and leave the other cheap ones there. Use the rest of the money that would otherwise be spent on unused games on server donations.
All the games in my wish list I would play pretty much. I think one of them might have been from the previous sale to put in on the wish list to get coal though but I forgot. There's threads on Steam of people asking when the sale will start. Well it started last year on the 30th of June so I assume it would be the same date this year. Did they do these sales before last year? I think they probably did and I didn't understand what it was about.

Probably as usual June 28th/29th through July 9th!
Just hope to see some new lower prices, newer game -75% / 85% off or bigger better game bundles! Portal 2 would have to be $6.79 to match its low, i think it should be -75% off $4.99 in next sale. Probably willl start thurs or fri on June 28th or 29th and end on that Monday July 9th! Would expect some great deal, some same low prices we seen through the year...and also some not so good deals and deal we want that never happen too

It's a pipe dream, but I'd love it if Dead Rising 2: Off The Record went down to $10-$12. The game was $40 new, and it has run its course on the retail level. Goes for $20 broadly now (though inexplicably it's still $40 on Steam). I haven't seen many (any?) Capcom games get deeply discounted though.
Any discount on Magic 2013 and I'm in. Love that stuff. |

etc... Hope we see some new games added to the sales vs same old same

I heard that the rumor is that it will start on the 3rd, so not 30 minutes. but maybe you'll be right!! I hope you are, but won't be surprised if you aren't
![]() Amazon has already begun theirs, in case you weren't aware, and they've some pretty good prices! Thanks to SlickDeals,i got a Samsung 40" LED 1080p tv from Target for $372. I also got a set of 2 memory foam pillows for $16.
Thanks to Christ, I get to go to Heaven, even though I don't deserve it. |
