Free Amazon Prime Trial YMMV
I was in the market for a new wireless router and found a free prime trial link on the item page. I've had many trials and figured it wouldn't work for me but it did.
Instructions to get your free one month trial:
Go to product page here: Clickity Click [amazon.com]
Add the product to your cart with free 2 day shipping via your new amazon prime membership. Accept the terms and your free trial will be active. There is no need to purchase the product. Once you add it to your cart with the free prime trial your membership is active and you can them remove the product.
**Be sure to go into your account setting--->manage prime membership---->turn off auto upgrade so that you don't get charged for the membership when the trial is over.**
Also for some reason the link to cancell auto upgrade was acting buggy for me. Don't know if this was because of my laptop or if it was Amazon but fixed that problem with hovering over the link, right clicking and opening the link in a new tab.
For those of you who can't get it to work: I think about it the one thing that was different on my account this time was my payment method. I've changed default credit cards since the last time I had prime. So maybe if you add a new credit card to your account it will allow you do it, and then you can switch back. It's worth a shot.
Ciao
