HD 7770 cards are comparable to HD 6870. And sadly, 6870 draws more power and more expensive than this deal. I would jump on this if I don't have 6870 that is waiting to be crossfired (sadly, the price of HD 6870 never saw less than $100).

The 6850 is still faster in most games, power consumption difference is about 10%. Since the 7770 is so new it should have a little more headroom for driver improvements.

Can the $10 Visa discount be combined with cashback? I think ~$80 would be about right for this card.

Please do not confuse already confused folks here. I hope u meant 6770. 6850 beats 7770 in most games. That being said, 6870 will destroy 7770 in ALL games. Performance wise, GTX 460 for $80 from the last deal was better. The mediocre power consumption improvement on 7770 is nothing to brag about, especially considering its performance/$. The load temp/noise on 7770 are actually higher than 2 years old card like GTX 460. Shame on AMD.

Anandtech really sums up things well here in the next statement.

Nevertheless, this is the lowest price on 7770 so far especially if you can double-dip $10 Visa discount although I feel 7770's lowest price should be lower than that of GTX 460.
