Patiently waited and after hours of refreshing and many carts with no checkout button I finally spotted a $157.50 K330B. To my surprise after clicking add to cart I had a checkout button. Thanks OP
FUDGEEEEEEEEE. that was the one I was eyeing on for the last 15 minute assuming someone hasn't checked out yet. FML

It is tempting but after seeing that it was possibly 100 dollars less, can't tell myself to buy it. Besides, the CPU is outdated and i'm sure the MOBO is as well. I was gathering pieces so I can build my mom a computer for her to use for her business which is going to be around 300~ish but it has a i3, sandisk extreme 120gb, 4gb ram, mobo=270ish so far. Need a good case and i'm good to go. that is a much better deal than the 232 fyi.
If you have a Microcenter near you, they have a smokin deal on a Cooler Master Case w/ 500W PSU for $37

Also, did you already get the Sandisk Extreme? Because those deals are all dead. But fear not, because SSD prices are dropping like a bad habit.

If I were you, I would go with what you already have planned out. For us builders, its easy to build great systems from slickdeals if you have some time to wait. But there are lots of folks who dont want to Pirate a copy of windows 7, or deal with building it themselves. If you buy Win 7 HP by itself, its $99 for the OEM copy. So, factoring that in, for the non-system builders, the $232 is a great deal.

No MicroCenters around. I got the Sandisk Extreme 120gb for around 75ish dollar today from staples. Just looking for a decent cheap case. Gonna keep looking on amazon...since I missed this deal. Even though I build this computer, my mom probably won't even need most of the power anyways as she'll be running a program or two for her business. bah. so this $150 comp deal would've been perfect. Oh well..

If you dont mind mATX, this is an APEX DM-318, AKA Antec Minuet. It has a 275W PSU even though it states 220W. I bought 4 of them to build with the $15 ECS motherboards.

http://www.amazon.com/Black-ATX12...rds=DM-318

Great cases for the $$$

I actually got a cooler master 460W PSU already. And I did get a gigabyte mATX mobo for it. Just need to find a good case. IS the PSU removable from the case? I know some cases actually have it welded onto the desktop surprisingly..

Got this mobo: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...00_s00_i00

got this PSU: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...02_s00_i00

Got a G.SKill Ripjaw for the mobo (Dunno if it will work with the mobo, if not, i'll just throw it into my gaming desktop. Smilie

The PSU is removable, but its Flex-ATX form factor, so an ATX size wont fit. The RipJaw will work no problem.

Meh...I guess I will have to continue my search for a case. Otherwise, everything is looking good so far

The second should be better in almost every way, except for the onboard graphics where the ATI may have a slight edge over the HD 2000 equivalent SB graphics. But it won't matter much because you cannot really game on the ATI either.

My understanding is that Intel SB pentiums are superior to AMD's dual core offerings. Also, I think the GPU is onboard rather than discrete.

Personally, I think pirating Win 7 is retarded in this day and age. Too many ways to get ripped off by Russian hackers looking to clean out your bank account. Just go Linux if you want to save some bucks or suck it up and pay the M$ tax.

You are correct on both accounts.
