Been using 2 of these drives in my server for about 2 months and have worked great so far. I just buy em and crack the case open and all is good. For this price may grab a few more.

or DL ripped BD's fast enough so they don't lag Online storage is like when Microsoft tried to convert a lot of their software to online so you didn't buy a disk you just went to the website everytime you wanted to use the software we all saw how well that went over lol |

You can also adjust the spin down time from 15 minutes to 2 hours and turn off the LEDs via the Seagate Dashboard software. I'm glad to see prices are finally going down indeed. I remember a little over a year ago I paid $50 for a 2TB Seagate external and hopefully those days are returning. Last edited by Guy767; 06-10-2012 at 11:44 AM.. |

1. changed to instore only. 2. not with any instant discount (this HD has $2 instant savings). 3. listed as clearance item instore. 4. expired. 5. may be redeemed already. So if you can get through all 5, then you will be in heaven. |

Great deal. One of my old drives is acting up so this came at a good time. I bought the coupon on ebay for a couple of dollars, got it ten minutes later, and ended up spending around $60 total. I also miss the old hard drive prices but this is a very good price until they get back to where they were.

Seagate external hard drive crashed in an year after buying from them. Lost everything I had. Called the company and they said they could retrieve the disk contents for a payment of $199 even when it was under warranty.
Better you buy two of these drive and keep them synced or google if any others' hard drive is of better quality. |

I only run the software when I need to adjust the spin down time and LED of the drives however. Once I adjust the settings I shut the program down and stop the Seagate Dashboard Service via services.msc. I've had no problems for nearly 2 months now (15 minute spin down and all LEDs off) |
