Amazon just lower Canon Pro9000 printer to $349 with $400 bundle rebate.

To get the $150.00 and $100.00 promotional discounts:

1. add Canon T3 with 18-55 lens:

Yes. But for self-use, it does not matter to me.

You can sell printer @170-180 and two lens @$230-250 at ebay. I'd rather keep 55-250 though, it is a nice lens.

Neither the T3 nor the T3i have image stabilization in the body.
Image stabilization (IS for Canon made lenses) is in the lens.

You are right that while the T3 is a perfectly fine starter camera, the T3i is superior to the T3 in every way (unless someone considers lower price, slightly smaller size or slightly lower weight to be better).
