This router also has cloud app feature that goes live this summer that looks promising. Looks like this will allow additional router features that don't require 3rd party firmware flash of router.

Does anyone know if this router is DLNA certified?
Have Xbox on one TV and Roku on another. Both of these have DLNA client that can view content from shared storage. This router has USB to share. |

I am planning to move from apartment to 4 bedroom two story home...
Confused between Router or Wireless access point? Builder's technician is charging $650 for putting WAP on 2nd floor ceiling. Can someone please advice if this router is good enough for 2 story home or i need WAP... Any comments will be great..I will also be using Roku Thanks in Advance.. |

I have two story home and works great. But did add the PLWK400 powerline extender with Access Point to cover area of backyard that had low Wi-Fi coverage. It works great. The kit includes one powerline adapter that connects router to electrical outlet, then another that goes into electrical outlet near low wi-fi coverage area. Now my entire backyard has wi-fi. Great for streaming pandora music via iphone and ipad or watching netflix outside. Really cool soluiton for extending wi-fi. Here is link

wow cloud connect seems like a vpn. I use openvpn now via a vm. but built in from factory is neat for noobs
