Can someone comment on how this would stack up to the Galaxy Tab 2 for sale at Staples? It appears to have a slightly faster processor.

I would also beware this company is known to ship tablets with false stats below picture same company different tablet.

I had been looking for one for my daughter's 7th birthday and I ordered this yesterday. I compared the Samsung 2 and the Visual Land, but could not justify spending the additional $150.

Rooting possible!
According to a post on xda (http://forum.xda-developers.com/s...?t=1533788), this tablet is basically a rebranded momo9. You can upgrade/root to ICS and get access to the full android market. Root instructions here: http://ployermomo9.wor Edit: This is for those who got the model with Android 2.3. This specific model from Walmart has the same model number, but has "ICS" added to that model #. So, appears to have ICS. However, may still not have FULL access to the android market. Are you guys saying that the one that Walmart has is really 2.3 and 4.0? Because my understanding is this is just a cheaper version or "special buy" of their Prestige model AND that this tablet does in fact come with ICS. To be fair, they DO have tablets that still have the 2.3 OS (see Shopko for example).
Amazon has this exact same tablet for $163.70 [amazon.com]. There are ONLY 2 reviews for this specific device. BTW-I do not see any correlation between iRulu and VL! I could be missing something though. Last edited by Suthngal; 06-11-2012 at 11:17 AM.. |

The only downside of the ainol is that when somebody asks what brand tablet you have, you have to answer "ainol." And once you realize the quality and value of the brand you will eventually say something like "I'm a big fan of ainol" "Slickdealer for life"
