I'm thinking that OP got the deal because they were out of the Element tvs that are on special this week for $278 at Walmart. I went to my local Walmart and they did have a big pallet of the HiSense in the back that hadn't been put out front yet. So, there could be one of two things: 1. The HiSense will be on sale next week, or 2. They just got a lot for the heck of it to sell at $398.

This Hisense is not a bad TV, i would get a sqaure trade warranty if i would buy this TV, i saw the 55" led 120hz in HHGregg and had the sales guy put a blu ray on it and it was amazing, it does flicker in very high motion episodes but its very clear. here's a 30% coupon for square trade 11P677L200D

The local Walmart had this TV in their computers for $79.96 and even though I said "oh, okay" out loud to the cashier inside I was screaming "HOLY BUTTF#CK MINE" and someone went back to pull a TV out of the back. I paid for the unit in the electronics section and paid in cash, and on the way out the store's manager chased after me and stopped me from leaving the store. He basically tried to tell me that the price was a mistake and that I couldn't have the TV even though I had already paid for it and was almost out the door. The manager then stood in front of me and would not let me leave the store and got his security buddies over by me and tried to intimidate me. My phone was out recording most of this conversation as well and I made sure to record everybody and what they were saying to me about how I was trying to "get something for nothing" from the store.
I finally gave in and got my money back and told the store manager that he was one of the sorriest human beings I have ever had to deal with, and I was going to do whatever it took to make sure that the public got a chance to see this store's behavior as well as report him to corporate. In the end I wrote several letters and e-mails to higher-ups at Walmart Corporate HQ and provided links that they could visit to see the video of the incident. I was given a $300 gift card and I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement that I wouldn't show anyone the video from the incident or take the story to the media. That manager no longer works at that store as well. All of that for a TV that really isn't even that good of a product...epic. Corsair Carbide 300R\ Corsair CX600 PSU
