Thread Details

I haven't seen this posted online for a couple years now and I just left my Mcdonalds in Bridgewater NJ. They had signs on the windows promoting this. I'm actually shocked to see them bringing this back.

I'd rather buy two McDoubles for $1 each, reassemble into a single triple cheeseburger (with only 2 slices of cheese) and take the extra bun and patty and feed a bum.

Now I'm not a geologist or anything but couldn't you just buy TWO double cheeseburgers for a dollar each and have a quadruple cheeseburger for $2? Perhaps this is just a heads up to the foodies who appreciate fine dining?

You are paying for the 3 slices of cheese. Since a Mcdouble is only 1 slice and a Double Cheeseburger has 2 slices of cheese. But yeah, common sense would say that. Me, I'll still stick to my Mcdouble and Chicken combination sandwich.

What I find funny is that a cheeseburger is something like $1.29 while a McDouble is $.99

That sounds so terribly awesome... Apparently deals vary from state to state. I visited family in MO and the Big N Nasty was on the dollar menu. I was a happy camper.

It really makes no sense, but its a fast food restaurant, they are going to charge a premium on their healthier products. That is the only way I can understand it.

Its the only way I can eat that spicy chicken. It just gives that sandwich a better taste.

Lol I'm far from a health nut but on what planet is a cheeseburger a healthier option to a double?

I'm also kind of bummed; The McDonald's in Orlando, Fl had Spicy McChickens. I had never seen that before. They are Om noms fo sho.
