Is there a way to tell Amazon not to ship my items early, I'm going to be out of town for the next couple weeks and it would suck if they ship my items earlier.

Not that I know of, but if you call FedEx/UPS and let them know after it ships, they will hold it for a little while without making the delivery attempts. I've done it with them a few times with purchases like laptops, TVs, etc. if I've been headed out of town, and they were always great about it. You just have to get through to the local delivery center.

That happened to me before.

But this time, I have not got any updated delivery estimate yet. It still shows late July.

Got a expedited shipping notifications today. New date is between 28th and 30th this month!!

bought last thursday it came tuesday. But the blu-ray player has not shipped yet i think its on back order.

Price lowered to $894.99. The 47LM7600 is $999. Good deals for those who need TVs, especially with the free blu-ray player and extra glasses.

Great TV(7600), got in on the Amazon deal($978) a few weeks ago for $838 after talking to a rep, he immediately refunded the difference on the BR player and the 6 extra pair of 3D glasses after placing the order. Such an awesome TV, just remember to calibrate it. I know it looks great out of the box but this TV has so much potential to produces an more amazing picture with tweaks.

Hell, I'm typing this post on my couch via my HTPC KB through this TV's display converted over from my PC video HDMI port and it looks amazing in comparable to my ASUS VH236 after messing with the settings. I can go on and on about how good this set is, but I'll mentioned my favorite feature of this TV and it has to be streaming contents from my PC HDD using the home apps- SmartShare or Medialink. All the contents from old *.avi I have all the way to 3D SBS movies I ripped out look amazing when streamed it using SS/ML on my LG. Screw watching it through converted PC's hdmi signal, or using a media player ever again.

it's hard to talk bad about this TV's image quality after coming from upgrading from my Toshiba 40" but if there's any flaws, i might have to say the wiimote like magic remote just doesn't do justice for me. It's always quite annoying to use especially when using the internet browser or FB/YT app. Speaking of youtube/FB app, they're useless apps especially when using with the remote. It's hard enough there's no KB support(future LG firmware update perhaps?) but putting up with inputting codes each time I restart my TV makes it meaningless.

anyway this is nearly reaching the tl;dr limit so I'll stop lol, god I love this TV so much, hope you guys will too.

Product Updates-

LG LM 8600 47" arrived yesterday. It came in a LG box. It was sealed with a clear tape and somewhat loosely sealed.

TV- 1. Its good no bleeding or clouding at all
2. It has some dead pixels on the right corner and looks like it was pressed . It was visible more yesterday and was reduced when checked today, so i suppose it will get fixed by itself if not then I might think of replacing.

3. Was unable to connect to the internet using Lan and wiffi and after that my internet died so I don't know if its a issue with the TV or internet.
4. 2D to 3D conversion good
5. TV Speakers are really good and very loud
6. Not much glossy as mentioned by many.
7. Love the magic remote.
8. One problem I noticed was for cable the while surfing channels it goes from 0,1,2,3... -12 and back to 0 and then for the second time it goes properly i mean 0,1,2...-12,13,14...
I noticed this every time I surf channels. I might re-tune the TV to check if the problem exists.
9. Overall awesome TV and totally worth the price.
