Good price on paper, but limit 1 and a $5 rebate just isn't worth the hassle, considering you'll be paying a significant portion of that rebate just in ink, paper and postage, not including time...

Are you using a photo printer and photo paper? I estimate it will cost about $0.47 to mail the rebate. Time wise it should take less than 5 minutes and that includes printing the address on the envelope.

I really didn't want red, but my medium yate loons have seized.
So I got 4 for $25.57 shipped 3 day UPS, then will get a $5 rebate for 1.
so $20.57 for 4 nice fans.....

time is money, you can't say anything less than 15 minutes including filing the rebate, mailing the rebate, checking the rebate, obtaining the check, driving to the bank to cash it

No, most of us have these newfangled 'mail carriers' that actually pick up the mail from your HOME!!! That's right, so all you have to do is pay for 1 envelope, a couple sheets of printed paper, and a $.44 stamp. Anyone dumb enough to drive to the bank to deposit one $5 check is a whole other matter. For the REST of us, there's no added cost as we deposit it when we have to go by the bank for something else anyway. As for the lengthy time it takes to fill out and fulfill a rebate, I must be gifted as I find I can do other things like watch TV, and still fill out a rebate in less than 10 minutes. . (15 minutes to fill out one rebate??? Must be that same 'special' person that drives to the bank to deposit that $5 check I guess.) As for extra time taken 'checking' on rebates, that's still a low % of submissions (1/20?) in my experience that ever have a problem and is easily averaged in with the other (19/20) rebates that have no problems and require no further checking or time spent.

Well, Good for you I have nothing against rebates, trust me, but for some of us all the steps involved in a mail-in rebate (now Staples easy rebates I'd still do for $5) including printing, filling out, mailing, checking, cashing etc is not worth <$5 for me. Even with your low estimate of 50c for sending the rebate, that still means you're spending 5-15 minutes of your time for $4.50. If that's time well spent in your eyes, be my guest

Only red seems to have a rebate now. Great price with the rebate, for those who can complete it in under and hour and not make a special trip to mail it.
