It is ridiculous how low Android tablets have gotten, but this one is the best bang for the buck in recent memory.
I remember when just the glass for the screen on a tablet like this was more than $100 by itself, but this entire tablet is a grand total of $69.99 with shipping included.

Here's the link to the product page and some highlights are below.

Don't even go there. Every thread this man starts he has to defend himself. I'm sick of it. Buy the tablet or not. Ask others what they think or ask the 100s of others on this site who have purchased mcbub before. Just please don't et into this argument again...

P.S. - it says 1.5Ghz nit 1.2 like ur title

You seem awfully negative. I suspect a negative nancy Wink

Look at the number of posts he has made. Look at when he signed up. He's a real SD'er interested in sharing exciting deals. I absolutely hate it when people just start throwing unfounded accusations around like that, it scares newbies, and this really is a good deal. We need MORE people like him/her!

I, for one, am glad he posted this deal, and give him TU. Purchased 2 myself, as this is probably the best bang for the buck Android 4.0 tablet deal I have seen in a long time. Thanks OP!

What's the main draw for these things? I don't really see the point of them or what makes them so desirable?

I asked what the battery life was like. Since Evo seems to be a representative of mcbub and is shilling for this deal, I would think he would be fine with answering that question. Instead he made it personal, saying that it shouldn't matter to me based on my voting history. Doesn't mean I'm not still curious what the battery life is and why he's pushing so hard for people to buy this product even though earlier posters have raised questions about it that are more interested in trying to be helpful to other SD'ers. That's what my interest is - is this a good deal for SD'ers. Evo's interest, on the other hands, seems to be, is this a good deal for McBub - which I don't care about quite so much. You be the judge of who is on the right side of this discussion. My question is, considering Evo's history with McBub, why SD mods haven't looked into whether he is shilling for the company. I thought that was against the forum rules but maybe I'm wrong.

I agree battery life question could have simply been answered but I was just saying the shill thing has been said and done. That's all. No disrespect towards either of u.

By the way, r u getting this tablet? I'm seriously thinking about it as a late fathers day gift

Android 4.0 is REALLY nice and is what Android should have been from the beginning. A tablet like this is great for students, allows them to access files, check their e-mail etc, while in school, without having to worry about losing an expensive tablet.

This unit also features a capacitive screen, has a front-facing camera, making them the perfect 'video-phone', especially since this unit comes with Google Play out of the box (so you don't have to do any special tricks just to get basic functionality working), perfect if you have a long distance friend/relative you want to stay in touch with.

In the end, for $70 bucks, you really can't go wrong. They also make awesome birthday gifts (as most people will think you spent a lot of money on a nice tablet, while in reality, you didn't) Wink

Yeah, I could see maybe for a student or as a gift. Skyping on this seems like it would suck, though, to be honest. 0.3MP is atrocious and the review video shows it. I thought maybe there was something I was missing that these things are being used for, but apparently they are as useless to someone like me as I originally thought they were.
