I grabbed this one from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/...04_s00_i00 I like that the case rotates to portrait orientation. Also the cover is affixed to the rest of the case with a snap so you can detach it if desired. The case definitely looks like a vinyl case though. No one will think it's leather or even synthetic leather. Overall I'm satisfied with it considering it only cost around $10. |

Does anyone else have an issue when you connect your archos tablet to your usb port on your computer, it 'slow' charges? Is there any way to make it charge faster?

Thanks for that info.... it seems to charge a little faster if I turn off the screen and wifi.

No problems here... it just doesn't get that loud even when turned to max volume.

it's says it wont charge if the system turn off so what happens if you run completely out battery

The battery charges while it is turned on (as long as it's plugged in).

Updated firmware to 407, and the GPS feature still does not function on my Archos tablet.
I have the "Clear AGPS" and "Update AGPS" options under Settings, and I still can't seem to get the GPS working under ICS: http://i46.tinypic.com/aylnbl.jpg Do I need to reformat to get GPS working on the Archos? |

make sure you are connected to wifi, press clear agps give it 10 or so seconds press update.. then give it 10 mins..

if anyone got a bad charger by the way, you can register the device and just make a support ticket.
they sent me a new wall plug piece with usb cable 2 day air. archos i guess is very good with support. |
