NEW IPad 2 64GB + 3G $549 + FS @ Macmall.com SAVE UP TO $180

Just looked at my email and Macmall.com is running a great sale on NEW Ipad 2's. The best discounts are on the larger capacity models but here is the links to the items.

Listed are the following SKU's for each. When you search the SKU on Macmall.com the price is listed as on the email. Two SKU's did not give a result.

NO ONLINE ORDERS, Must call to order from them. They have possibly the best customer service I have ever received from an online retailer. They called me after placing an order for a macbook to confirm the order, then called 30 minutes after it was delivered to ask if everything was to my expectations. Then they offered me discounts on RAM and software. I would buy from them in an instant again.

They don't sell 32 and 64gb models at Apple but you can get them refurbed at a discount:
32gb wifi 399 refurb through Apple.

Normal price. Sorry, but not too slick. Though it's nice to have an option to buy a new Ipad2 with 32 or 64gb.

Check your math.

$529 for 16GB iPad 2 with WiFi + 3G from Apple
$549 for 64GB iPad 2 with WiFi + 3G from MacMall
Four times the memory for just $20 more.

And, if MacMall does not charge sales tax for your state, the 64GB iPad from MacMall is cheaper than the 16GB from Apple, which charges taxes in all states.

How is this not a Slick Deal??

Yeah, they're not quite to Microsoft-level ridiculousness yet (i.e. Windows Storage Server 2008 R2 Essentials--that's a real product) but this "New iPad" thing is stupid and destined to cause confusion. If they didn't want to stick with the numerical naming they should just use vintages like they do on their Mac line--so iPad (2012). Since they only ever come out with one new version of each device per year that nomenclature makes sense. Evidently though, humongous companies like Apple and MS with consultants earning six figures can't quite figure it out.
