another sder said all of those labtops are more than a year old and all of them are 1st gen processors not second. the i7 gt555 u are talking about is 1gen and probably refurbished.

They would post one ever so slightly better than mine right after I go to bed lol. Anyway its good to have options and if this Asus laptop has the same physical feel as many of the older ones that looked similar then that will be nice. I can't speak for the physical feel to a Lenovo though since I've never really used one.

No- its sandybridge and all come with a 1 year warranty....

This looks like a pretty good deal. I got a similar Asus laptop, i7 2.0ghz 1366x768 540m 1xusb3.0 just a different model with an aluminum case, for $725AR in December. It handles most games very well at medium to high settings. Diablo 3 max settings ~45fps (720p)

I have almost the exact model up from this with 2GB of video ram instead of 1.

1. EXTREMELY powerful.
2. Amazingly CHEAP... as in LOW QUALITY CONSTRUCTION
3. Power connector broke in 3 months.
4. WORST WARRANTY IN THE HISTORY OF MAN

It's still in the shop NOW to give you an idea...

Since they were placed late Friday night I wouldn't normally expect anything to have shipped yet. Mine doesn't say cancelled though and the seller's reviews are mostly good. There's always some bad, but I flipped through some pages of their reviews and only saw one cancelled order and it was for something much cheaper.
