Goggles4u misleading advertising

The Goggles4u banner on slickdeals.net is false and misleading advertising. The only part of their banner that displays at the top of slickdeals makes NO MENTION of other charges. Again I wasted no little time entering a prescription several times as their system kept losing it only to find out that it was bait and switch. Let me add that if the original ad were true I would not have minded paying extra for coatings, etc.....

Here is a paste from the chat. Again the details he mentions do NOT show up on the banner that I clicked on

Okay, first, what's wrong with communism? Yes, the implementation has almost always sucked, but the basic tenants of sharing are still good. I'm not defending communist countries and their lack of standards for treating their citizens, only defending the ideals behind communism of being a community, being communal.

Second, that's not communism.

And to internetsupport, I'll say that this post is definitely better than the last one because of the details. However, it seems like this is the fault of Slickdeals, not Goggles4u. Slickdeals is the one who had the "misleading" banner advertisement. Goggles4u had the correct information.

If you run AdBlock on the Slickdeals website you would never see the banner ads and therefore never suffer from misleading ads.

Thank you Mr. Tom

The false advertising appeared here and continues here at slickdeals and I am whining about it here. And only because I believed the false advertising and wasted my time setting up an account and digging up a prescription etc only to find out that it was false advertising.

Is it deliberate by slickdeals? I can't say for sure but is not inconsistent with previous false advertising here.

You do realize in general, the banner ad is created by the advertiser? And it's often hosted on a website, so it can be easily changed or rotated?

The OP's user title seems to be false advertising. Wisdom does not appear to be included.
