Miles Don't Expire:
Your miles will not expire as long as there is activity on your credit card account, including paying your annual membership fee, and the credit card account is open and not in default. Upon cancellation of your credit card account your miles will expire according to the MileagePlus program rules.

If your account is not open for at least six months, United and Chase reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your MileagePlus Program account. Additional cards and all cardmember communications will be mailed to the primary cardmember, who is responsible for all charges made by the authorized users. Reference to the account may appear on the authorized users’ credit reports.

So did this change to $1000 spend in first 90 days as opposed to after first purchase?

Applied today and after logging to my UA airlines, saw the 65K points and $50 CB before applying.

got the response awaited message .. called reconsideration number and approved instantly for 40K limit .. yes.. its 40K credit limit

The points that show up in your chase account are the same that show up in your UA account. They're not "transferred" from your chase account to your UA account...it's just that you see them in your Chase account first. how long does it take?I applied for the netflix deal, and the 4000 bonus miles posted within 6 days.

You got approved for a $40,000 credit limit?!

Received my 55,000 miles after 1st purchase....requested $50 statement credit and have received that applied to my account already...I don't think they would put the miles and credit into my account if the $1000 charges in 90 days was required.
