There it is, guaranteed by eMachines to never be obsolete.
As you can see in the pictures, it's nearly new, still shiny, no rust no dust, works like a charm. blistering fast (ahem) and best of all, good for life and Never Obsolete.

I remember this machine. Re-defines what " Never Obsolete" means. Good one.

Thanks for the serial. I'm getting rid of this windows 7 crap and going with that pro 98 SE. Lol the days when you didn't have to activate windows.

I think if I put 98 on my phenom x6 machine it would not boot at all and probably just turn into a virus and run rampant.

Amazing that it's still working.

I really like old style cases (heavy duty with solid panels).

Oh man they knocked that one right out the park! Can't get more accurate than that. Them folks at eMachines were and still are the modern day prophets.

Says right on the sticker that you can upgrade to a newer model every two years for $99. That's where the "never obsolete" thing comes from. Is this real? That would have been a pretty good deal back in the day, assuming eMachines honored it (which would surprise me even if the sticker is real).

I missed the $99 deal 12 years ago, but what about doubling my ram to 64 megs. Do you figure it's worth it? Maybe an SSD?

Heh. The sticker says the fastest model on the market. It's not like you send it in and they stick parts in it. A completely new computer every two years for $99 per upgrade isn't bad at all, and it would have been even better back when computers were kind of expensive.

bulb save money by checking your insurance every 2 years (and not every 20)

12 years / 2 = you own 6 payments * 99 = $600
they can sell you a nice pc for $600;

I realize there are still a ton of stickers on new(er) PC towers etc, especially when bought at retail. Do companies think people see the stickers and have their "Must purchase now" ADD kick in or what?

I seems a little over the top for this machine.

If anyone wants to trade a working Lexus for the Eternal PC, I would consider it.
