Wow, didn't realize how expensive framing was. Wanted to frame my 11" x 14" diploma, was going to have prices starting at $80 after the discount!

I don't think it is 70% off. Instead they take 60% off the price. And then take 10% off that.

The price of framing is ridiculous, if you are going to do any volume of framing, it'll pay to get your own mat cutter and cut your own mats, it'll pay for itself in less than 10 custom cuts.
As far as Michaels's quality, they seem to be alright, but the prices are pretty much outrageous. All I typically buy from them are frame kits when they have them at 20%-40% off. |

i saw a shadow box on display for $670 two days ago. i literally laughed out loud at how asinine that price was. very basic, too. just a football jersey in a square shadow box

Clothing (jersey, etc.) are expensive to frame because they have to be hand sewn to the backing so they don't move once framed. My brother-in-law used to be a manager of the frame shop at a Michaels store. Framing is very labor intensive, hence the high prices, but I must agree that sometimes it's just outrageous for what you get!

It says "order" but not "total order" so I'm just curious if anyone know whether they play games and consider each frame an "order" or can I get 4 different diploma's framed and take the discount off all 4?

it's not really a coupon, just go to the counter and they will give you the 60+10 on all of them.
