He means take the newegg drive back to the store for your return once you get it. No need to mess with your existing setup.

1) Buy drive at Newegg
2) Receive Newegg drive from UPS guy.
3) Grab your Microcenter receipt
4) Drive to Microcenter with Microcenter receipt in one hand and unopened Newegg SSD in the other.
5) Hand both to Microcenter cashier for easy return. If they ask why, say "I decided I didn't want it. I never even opened it."
6) Pocket the difference and smile.
7) Treat yourself to a smoothie with your new found wealth.
8) Congratulate yourself for listening to helpful SDers.

No, laptops can typically only hold one hard drive. Like the poster said above, you would have to make your existing hard drive an external drive with an enclosure or docking station. You could make this drive you main OS / application drive and put all your media/documents on the 700 GB drive.

I wouldn't advise it if it didn't work. Just make sure both items and UPCs are exactly the same. If you won't do it, send me your Microcenter receipt if you paid cash, and I'll do it and pocket the savings.
