Should the 2nd Amendment be repealed or changed based on reasoning/logic used by other countries that prohibit or restrict the personal ownership of firearms?

I agree we shouldn't look to other countries and their reasoning/logic to guide our laws. We're the United States and we look to no one when it comes to our internal affairs and our laws.

Heck, and since so many other things are "free because it's a right" nowadays, there aren't too many rights more important than the 2nd Amendment in the Constitution. So along with free health care and free cell phones and free cars and free internet and free whatever else, people should also get free firearms. We give illegal aliens free education, and the right to bear arms is more important than that, so we should give illegal aliens free firearms too.

You are now being silly. Militias should have access to guns. How from that you conclude that people should get free Internet is beyond me.

If people get other things "because it's a right," then something related to something as important as the 2nd Amendment should logically get gotten too.

That's a strange part about various countries or the UN or whoever else's "human rights"-type laws/regulations/charters/opinions. Rarely do such things ever have something in there about the right to self-defense or self-protection or protecting your family or whatever else and thus would have something in there about the right to uninfringed right to bear arms.

Heck, the UN has a frickin' giant mangled gun statue on its front lawn. wtf.

I resent your ridiculous and baseless attack on my character. I didn't "troll" and I used no "weasel" words". I posted exactly what I think and what I meant. Given the evidence presented so far, I believe it's likely Zimmerman acted in self defense.

What you and others have used as "evidence" that he didn't, is largely conjecture and postulation on your part.

You're so convinced of "facts" that aren't in evidence in the Zimmerman case, you're being uncharacteristically irrational in the face of logic.
