35/35 FiOS connection turns into 10/2 through PS3..

I'm not wrong. A lot of server farms go through California. It's not just Sony that does this. Sony particularly does this though because California would be the shortest hop back to Japan where Sony Japan's PSN servers are located.

SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment America) is located in California which handles most PSN traffic, so yeah we do get dedicated servers.

This is the map that shows the first two PSN server regions getting back online when PSN was taken down last year.



I had access like an hour or two before other areas in the rest of the west coast and the midwest lit up.

Lighting up just the California and the New York regional servers, put 20% of PSN users online already.

I don't think you understand what I am saying...so, just to be clear, you think the difference between pic 1 and pic 2 is that Pic 1 = Cali and East Coast and Pic 2 = "addition of the West Coast"?

If that is your definition of the west coast...haha, sure then...you're spot on.
