What happens if I apply for this?
I just got a postcard from United offering me this deal. I did it last year, got 50,000 miles, and used them for a $1,300 trip. Then I cancelled the card. Two months ago my wife got one and got 50,000 miles. Today I get this post card. Will they really give me a credit card with fresh benefits exactly like the one I cancelled a few months ago? Is there any downside to applying and being rejected? |

How long after you get your points do you have to wait to cancel? Mine (50K Points) posted with first statement. Can I close it now?
Found answer on another board: "These miles do not count toward Premier® status. If your account is not open for at least six months, United and Chase reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your MileagePlus Program account". Last edited by dotbowels; 08-22-2012 at 01:25 PM.. |
