Just thought id mention this, i bought just cause 2 last year on steam only to find out a month or so later when i finally got around to trying it that it isn't playable on windows xp. I know i'm a bit behind on the windows os, but found it funny that a game needed an operating system newer than xp to run. my cpu and vid card can play any game, never thought it would be an operating system that would be the culprit to a game not being able to be played. SO far, that is the only game i'm unable to play.

From what i understood back when i looked up the reason for xp not being able to play just cause 2, was because it required directx 10, which xp couldn't do, only windows 7 was able to play it. So i wasted money on that game, but it is in my steams library, so 1 bonus game thats just there to add to the collection.

just got LA Noire, Vegas 2 and MassEffect 2. then realized some of them might not even support win 7, darn!

ME2 will.... heck, I play all three ME's. LA Noire demo worked for me... Vegas 2 should...

Blur was one of my fav 360 games, but I sold my 360 a year ago..

Was going to do GTA IV & Episodes...but would rather buy the entire GTA pack for $50 on Steam & also wait for GTA V... Was going to do L4D2... but would rather wait for 3.. if & when it ever hits.. Was really gunning for Dead Island.. but the IGN review killed it for me bc the game doesn't look as good as I thought...

There is no workaround for Just Cause 2 to work on XP. It is coded only in DX11 and cannot be forced to work in XP.

Looking at assassin's creed! What does AC2 deluxe have that regular AC2 doesn't have?

Honestly I understand some people REALLY REALLY REALLY loved XP. But man, XP is 11 years old now. This is what Cell Phones looked like when XP came out...
