FIOS Quantum - Verizons new FIOS packages and speeds up to 300/65

I've been paying 54.99 for the 15/5 plan for over a year now...

I guess spiffing up the name a bit warrants a price increase.

Man, bet that 300Mbps connection is the bird.

If anyone has advice for getting Verizon to take care of existing customers our of committment, please post!

Good luck with that. Been out of contract for a good few years now, and while a lot of new sub packages are better, I havent ever managed better then what I have had all along. The plus side about them not caring about current subscribers is their outdated tiers seem to stay frozen in time pricewise. Mine went up a little right after the contract/price garuntee went up, but not a penny since for years now.


Anyhow, been on extreme tv + 20/5 internet for $89 out of contract several years now. With the latest tiers, it would cost me $25/mo more to upgrade to 50/25, $30/mo more for 75/whatever it is, +2yr contract on both too. When the 35mbps tier came out, could of done it for $10 more, and should of . New tiers is to much of a jump, even though I do download a lot. After playing around some with it, it would actually cost me $15/mo more to DOWNGRADE to 15/5 AND enter into new 2yr contract vs what I have already haha.

You can get the 50/25 package for $15 more than what you're paying.

300 is $209

I can get 300M/65M service in NYC - it is $165/M more than then 50M/25M service.

Sadly FIOS still has not made it to my area, much less FIOS Quantum.

I was within 3 months of getting FIOS with Verizon, when Verizon abruptly pulled out of WV.

Now I have Frontier's "High Speed" service, with a blazing 1.5Mbps download speed.......gets even worse in the evenings between 6pm to Midnight.

New customers also qualify for $50 Amex card if they sign up online.

LOL yes everyone is jealous including me but you usually have to own a house and fios usually only goes to big nice new house areas of course im sure there are many exceptions stop babbling about your 50M crap connection(cable lol how about you state your upload speed so we can laugh) we all know what it is now we all just learned just take in the information and stew in pure jealousy muahahahahahahahahah
