I would agree the quote is a stretch for the title. My main point still stands. Either Obama is a committed Christian and is beckoned by God to do His work (his claim) and believes the Bible despite it's own inconsistency, or he is a pandering liar.

Alternatively we accept that most people are reasonable about religion and just ignore the inconsistencies and wild fantasies that are in their holy books. This is really what I'm driving at. It's a double standard to call Mormons crazy, while looking at what the plain old bible teaches.

But your apparent belief that the top universities in this country hire morons as professors does.

Now it could be that some of the elders teaching at Stanford and elsewhere are now suffering from dementia, but that does not mean they weren't very smart when they were younger like Obama.

Compare BHO's leadership qualifications against MR's and BHO comes up extremely short. (Being a community agitator or a lawyer does not count for leadership qualifications).

Based on the "ability" to extract monetary resources from failing companies and leave their pensions unfunded?

Or the "ability" to take credit for investments he opposed and the jobs created after he dumped the investment (like Staples)?

Or taking credit for bailing out the Olympics (with taxpayer money)?

Now that's leadership!

I don't know. BO has spent the last 4 years running the most powerful country in the world. That is some impressive qualifications. What has Willard been up to lately? Besides being unemployed for the last 5 years unsuccessfully running for president and losing $77k on dancing horses, his last "real" job was running Mass where he left with a whopping 34% approval.

The Mormon situation is a bit like the Muslim situation. Perhaps in abstract, Christinity, Islam, Judaism, and Mormonism are equally brutal, equally internally inconsistent, and equally barbaric. But people argue that more of Christians do not follows the extreme directives of their faith and more of Muslim follow theirs. Similarly the argument is that Mormons follow the extremes of their faith more than Christians do theirs.

It seems reasonable I know lots of people have gotten anal probe from god, just like from aliens. Just ask an alter boy....

God is a spiritual being, not a physical one. God created this physical Universe we live in. We are both physical and spiritual beings. God is not an alien. If God also created aliens in this or some other universe then I'm sure that they too have spirits like us.
