New Forum Idea: "Deal Brag"
Just a suggestion, but hopefully not one you've had a hundred times before, but here it is. A "Deal Brag" forum. I think this is what "Deal Talk" was originally, but obviously its become the archive forum for super popular deals. Therefore it doesn't make itself inviting for me to post my deal experiences. "Deal Brag" can be a place where people share their deals/hauls even if the deal may not be reproducible by anyone/everyone. For instance, I bought a new 13" MacBook Air on macmall.com and saw that if I chose 8gb instead of 4gb, it actually subtracted ~$50 (got 8gb for $150 less since it was supposed to add $100). However, the coding error was fixed shortly after. So now I'm stuck since I'd like to share, not only for my ego, but to let other people know that this is a type of error that they should look out for. This would most definitely this would get thumbs downed in "Hot Deals" and ignored in "Deal Talk"..but I feel like it is still a valid contribution to the SlickDeals community! Any feedback would be appreciated. |
