Great deal, found thru local Costco stores here in Socal, maybe Costco website will reflect this price in a few days.

This is not the Active or Sport, cheap entry level 24 hour fitness clubs, this is Super Sport..

You're forgetting the biggest parts, and that is the equipment is much better (each machine has it's own TV) and you get towel service.

Swimming pool, basketball court(s), racquetball court, towel service, just to name a few.

The Super Sport gym I belong to is extremely clean, spacious, with all new equipment. If you don't use any of the amenities described, I'd stick with Active or Sport. Hope that helped.

Just like what Kaiotes said, it's mainly size and cleanliness that seperates these two types of gym. There's also free towel service, generally the Supersports are more open space, more updated equipment, less "ghetto-er" people, bathrooms are a lot more spacious/clean/organized/well equipped, and what I have noticed, most (if not all) have basketball courts. As opposed to "active or sports" where SOME have bball courts.

yes on the tv but limited in number. i go to the one on crane ave in sj. only limited number of cardio machines have their own tvs
