24 Hour fitness 2 year Super Sport membership 599.99 thru Costco YMMV, breaks down to $25/ month , lowest so far.. .reg price 39.99

Great deal, found thru local Costco stores here in Socal, maybe Costco website will reflect this price in a few days.

This is not the Active or Sport, cheap entry level 24 hour fitness clubs, this is Super Sport..

For everybody who got the 2 yr active membership for 24 hour fitness from costco, what happened when the membership expired? Did they offer to renew your membership, or did you go back to costco to buy another membership?
If you're going to be with them for a long time, the Costco deals aren't as good in the long run. The Costco deal runs through its stated membership period and then expires. Period. There is no renewal offer or anything. You can go back to Costco and buy again, but that's it.

If you get one of their "regular" 3 year memberships, often times you can get (as you can see posted above) some fantastic renewal deals.

Ultra Sport is about $80 per month right now in NYC, I'm still fortunately on a lower price from when I signed up.

Does anyone know if there are any Costcos near the Ontario, CA 24 hour fitness Super Sport that have this deal? Was going to rejoin 24 hour fitness for the pool but willing to pay a little more for the Super Sport access as my work is near the Ontario 24 hour Super Sport. Thanks in advance for your help.

Go Issaquah if you want it.

how good this deal is depends on the Sport and SuperSports locations near you. i have 2 Sport locations near me that are a few years old, and they're just as good as my nearest SuperSport. the only difference i noticed is towel service. i think the SuperSports' towels are too thin and don't pick up sweat well, so I prefer my own. plus they have a strong detergent smell. plus I have 3 Sports that are closer to me than my nearest SuperSport.
True. I have to say that the Sport in Mesa, AZ is probably the best one I've been to. It was new, spacious, nice machines, well lit (I can't tell you how much it bothers me when a gym is dimly lit) and well maintained. Now that I live in South Florida it's a pain in the butt to find a remotely nice Sport gym. Weights are all over the place, trash thrown all about, and the machines are old. The only saving grace is that I only pay $30/year which is cheap enough that I can afford to find a cleaner gym even if it means paying more. At least I'd have the 24 as a backup when I feel like going super late at night.

Can I use the membership card in Seattle, if I buy it in Issaquah?

Thanks Bakerzdosen. I looked at their website, and they do not have the 3 year membership plan. Is that something I would have to discuss with them in person?

I'd assume that (from the limited info online) "all clubs" means all clubs; of course that's outta my ass.

I'd...
1) Ask 24hr if it's *ALL* clubs without mentioning buying from Costco...
2) Buy from Costco. And then refund if 24 screws with you...

I just want to confirm.
Issaquah Costco has 24 Hour fitness All Clubs SUPERSPORT 2 year membership for $599.99, right? 'Cause I don't want to waste my time 50 minutes and get nothing.

Yeah, I think so. Every time I've talked to them in person, they've been pretty open about the whole deal.

The best way to get a plan is through some sort of "we're opening soon" or "it's our grand opening" deal. (According to their site, there is one opening in August in Lakewood, CA. if you're anywhere near there...)

But yeah, ask.

This is a personal (1 person) membership right? Anyway to convert it to a family membership?

And, does it allow access to more than 1 location?

I've never heard of the active membership, but I have done the Sport membership two times, and it is about to expire again. They didn't try to renew my membership when it was coming up. What I did was just buy another certificate from Costco for another 2 year membership.

Yes, no, yes.

You can go to any location that is Super Sport or below (Super Sport, Sport, Active, Express).

This deal isn't worth it if you do not live near a Super Sport or will not be going to one.
