Yes sir OSX is exactly that. Even for an art student(I minored in it). Also, Asus is always within the top 3 companies listed for durability, reliability, and customer service for their laptops, desktops, and components.

is this the only ultrabook with a good screen?

I gotta add, I love the deals on this forum, but some of the posters really have some false sense of superiority. I state an opinion and some douchebag makes an assumption, and then tries to rip on me because he doesn't agree with my opinion. I'm starting to realize the reason for the high rate of lurkers on here.

Except it's not. Anyone who says otherwise either has never seen one, or don't know how to use windows. You can play the apple trick and set DPI to 125% and it'll look very close to 1366x768 but you get that 25-30% improved pixel density.

Does anybody actually have a solid argument for or against this machine? I am deciding between this and the base model 13" macbook air... The screen is much more beautiful on this... but the more highly rated trackpad and keyboard of the MBA is also very enticing
