I think cable-operator provided Tivo boxes are not eligible due to their contracts with TV networks. Just tried for my RCN provided Premiere, but got the "does not qualify" message.

Worked for me with a new Premiere XL4! Did not work with an existing Premiere (the original 45-hr model that was purchased 18 months ago).
