sign up for nzbmatrix and browse the nzb's they have or search and see if they have what u want. Of course a NZB indexer like nzbmatrix is not representative of everything that is on usenet but it's the easiest way to find things to download.

These guys are great. I use them for recent stuff (99%) and a "private" torrent site for older crap.

Speeds are great, service is quick and I thought I got a great deal when I signed up for a year of service from them for $50 (Christmas promo or something). Everything <300 days old is there, and honestly I've downloaded stuff older than 500 days successfully (yeah, it had to rebuild, but it worked). I got scared away from the Highwinds resellers after I realized my old ISP used HW and their completion was poor, and some stuff was being taken down within 24hrs (and since it was "free" from my ISP I was only getting ~400KB (~3megabit).

Works great with sabnzbd and SSL on my dockstar!

I've downloaded ~130GB this month (catching up on some stuff in Sickbeard) with no limits.

Was going to subscribe to giganews for $17.49 a month for unlimited and 1400+ days of retention, ssl encryption etc. I'm a noob to newsgroup, will this work with the newbinpro program?

And how is this vs Giganews?

Bjamm, we do not impose any type of bandwidth cap or cap our users speeds any in way. If you are having speed issues please submit a support ticket with trace routes and we'll see if there are any routing issues going on.

We do not throttle any of our customers. A large percentage of our client base are SDers, I'm pretty sure we would of had more complaints If you are experiencing speed issues please submit a support ticket with traceroutes to our servers, it's probably a routing issues between our servers and you.

Is 3.99 only good for the first month, seems like it, I subscribed and theres no option to auto renew or anything like that, the renewal page only shows the usual rates which is $5.99 / month or $60/ year

Just bought a sub... I have thundernews now ($5/month) but getting tired of the files being deleted within <24 hours for some files. I don't download too much that's over 300 days (that I can think of) but will occasionally... we'll see how this goes.
