As far as when it will start if it did go through, 10-12 weeks is in the industry standard for new subscriptions (although you may get your first issue in the mail sooner). Just depends on the publisher of the magazine, how often the magazine is published etc

In a few weeks you can try to see if your account is showing up at the magazine website. You can usually view what month will be your first issue, your exp date etc
