Looks like a decent budget gaming laptop. These AMD Llano chips just beat the pants off the low end Intels when it comes to graphics for games.
I did find it a LITTLE disconcerting when I cannot find the A53 series ANYWHERE on the Asus website. It's like these are discontinued (which they probably are, with new AMD chips rolling out) and never existed. A little note about overclocking with K10stat. Yes these will clock up like crazy. I have an A8 Gateway/Acer laptop and it goes to 2.8ghz easy. But I have also had 2 AC adapters fail for no good reason. The stupid little adapters only put out 65w, it may not be enough for big time overclocking. I won't be pushing mine hard anymore. |

These specs (specifically processor) allow for some decent gaming. My laptop pretty much has these specs except for a slightly bigger hard drive (640GB). That said, this price point for these specs were had in the fall of last year, especially when I got mine in November. We're almost in July!
