XFX Radeon HD 6670 1GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Video Card (HD-667X-ZWF4) $42 after $20 Rebate

They've never failed me. My most recent TD rebate was for an Intel i5-3570K purchased in May 2012, which I thought was an Intel rebate but when the AMEX giftcard arrived, it had "Tigerdirect.com" all over it. Best part: I only had to wait about 5 weeks to get it, not ~10 weeks like normal. TD was shady with rebates in the past but after they got sued, they seem to have cleaned up their act.






This card will work even any PCI-express slot, preferably at least PCI-express 2.0 4x speed.

This card is great for medium to high settings in most games at 1080p (even medium-duty gaming if you are at 1680x1050 or below), HTPCs, movies/youtube/Hulu, Eyefinity desktop, etc. Never buy DDR3 cards unless they are strictly for non-gaming uses. Cards like this one are DDR5 which is MUCH faster memory throughput and absolutely necessary for gaming.

Rather than use some ambiguous "tier" system (ignore any SDer who says this card is ranked #whatever; that is useless information because there are so many cards out there) just look at the numbers yourself to get an idea of how fast this card is for gaming:

So yes this card smokes the 6450 and 8400. The 8400 is ancient tech that was slow even when it was new.
