Confusingly, unless my eyes are fooling me, this is the same rebate offer # that was for an earlier SD on OCZ Vertex 120GB. That one says ONE rebate...this one says up to THREE rebates.

If I purchase this one, do I submit both together (as they are the same rebate #), or separately (and run the risk of reject because one is claimed already)?

Correct, as it says on the (updated) form.

But now I have two invoices...does that create a problem if I submit both in one claim? Logically it should not, but we know that the rebate process is fraught with nitpicky reasons for rejection.

Just thought I'd ask, in case this has happened before and someone has been through it successfully.

I will call the center when I have a chance in the next couple of hours. Hope they don't OOS by then.

If you're worried about it, maybe you could print the rebate form twice and include one rebate form with each invoice?

I kinda think anyone who has had a rebate rejected, thinking they follow the instructions to a "T", is gonna be worried about this scenario. So, if in doubt, ask, don't assume is my policy.

Thought I'd try the community here, first, to see if anyone ran into this situation. No one, at least so far. This is rather unique (I hope), so this is not surprising.

I called 4myrebates to get an answer...It kinda stumped them for a moment, because the system on their side shows only ONE rebate.

I had to give her the specific url to read the pdf that Newegg provides. She did some follow up and came back to me to say that multiple (three in this case) invoices can be submitted and the way to handle that when registering is to fill the field asking for invoice numbers, separating them by a comma. It should go in as a single submission as more than one for the same offer # will flag an automatic rejection (you might not even get a notice for that - she says).

She did not say this, but as brisar suggests, one should send a copy of the updated form showing THREE rebates are offered. I'd circle point #2 on the form for clarity.

Hope this helps anyone else who might have been hesitant...either for this deal or if this comes up in future.
